Meet the Sicilian with 2.Nc3 and f4: a kingside attack (f4, Nf3, Bb5 or Bc4, O-O, then f5) without the Open Sicilian's theory. This is a intermediate opening course for White (ECO B23), written for players rated around 1350. Each move is explained and then drilled on a board; it is free.
Key ideas of Closed Sicilian & Grand Prix
2.Nc3 and 3.f4 aim the whole army at the kingside.
Bb5 against ...Nc6 doubles Black's pawns or wins time; Bc4 aims at f7.
After castling, f5 and Qe1-h4 are the attacking plan.
Keep the centre closed: Black's queenside play comes slower than your attack.
