Budapest Gambit: 4.Bf4 Bc5?! 5.e3 is variation 5 of 6 in the Beating the Englund and Budapest gambits course, a beginner opening course for White (ECO A52). It runs 21 moves and begins 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 e5 3. dxe5 Ng4 4. Bf4 Bc5 …. Black's bishop aims at f2 from c5. White simply plays e3 and blocks it. Now the g4 knight hangs in the air, so Black has to give back the pawn. White stays a pawn up with easy development. In the lesson every move is explained on a board and then drilled; it is free.
