About the Van't Kruijs Opening
White starts with 1.e3, a modest move that opens lines for the f1 bishop and the queen. It often transposes to other openings.
White can follow with d4 for a Colle or Stonewall setup.
It can also become a reversed French or a b3 and Bb2 system.
Black gets the centre easily with ...e5 and ...d5.
